About Us

With the increasing number of Chinese or Chinese heritages in North America working in food safety area and the focuses of China food safety in recent years, we felt necessary to build a channel for communication, career improvement, and assistance to China Food Safety. In 2009, at IAFP’s annual meeting in Grapevine, TX, 38 people initiated to form the Chinese Association for Food Protection in North America and proposed to IAFP affiliate committee. It was approved soon and announced to be the 48th IAFP’s affiliate at its annual meeting in Anaheim, CA, 2010.
